As a state funded program, Riverbank Hockey does not hold formal tryouts. Instead, teams are filled on a first-come-first-serve basis, with priority given to returning players. New players can join only after an interview with the program managers to ensure their skill level is sufficient for the program. Others are invited to join the "Hockey Prep" program to develop their skills.
New players are invited to fill out the New Player Registration, which can be accessed here. Once completed, they will be added to the waitlist for the age-appropriate team.
Between July 7 and 31, the program managers will contact players in the waitlist in the order that they joined, and invite them to come to Riverbank for an interview. If the player's skill level is sufficient, they will be invited to register for the program and join the team.
If interested, click here to join the waitlist, and the park will contact you after July 7 if there is room on a roster.
If a player played on a team last season, s/he has priority to register before June 23, 2019. If not fully registered and paid by June 23, 2019, s/he must join the waitlist as a new player.
You are not considered registered until you have paid in person at Riverbank!
